This class is meant for anyone who has ever wondered about iPad digital art ,including iPad digital animation...... but not tried it yet........or even for those who have. You will learn a lot about this contemporary art form. I think you will find it fascinating to create digital still imagery as well as animated images !
I have been LOVING creating iPad art for about the past 10 years. In my opinion, you will LOVE exploring this unique medium as well. My explorations have included digital painting, photo manipulation, as well as combining digital art with other traditional mediums. My explorations include a wide variety of subject matter, including portraits, landscapes, realism, abstraction, and surrealism.
More recently, I have discovered the joy of creating elements of animation to my iPad digital art ! I hope it will be contagious and that you will LOVE it as well !

Project 1-
"Moonlight Dancer"
In this project you will create a Composite Still Image using digital painting and photo manipulation - NOT an Animated Image . The two other projects in this course will be Digital Animation.

In this first project, you will create a figure in a landscape...... using digital imagery of your choice from the available class resources on www.Pixabay.com or your own imagery.
I’ll show you how to incorporate the digital imagery by using layering effects of digital manipulation or blending modes.
The figure will be created using a fascinating app in which you can create an endless variety of poses as well as lighting effects on the figure.
Project 2-
"Galaxy in Motion"

For this project, you will create your own galaxy image......which will then be animated. You will LOVE the stunning effects ! You will use several apps …..in combination with photo copyright free imagery , as well as your own digital painting .......creating a unique work of art !
Project 3-
"Cosmic Portal"

In this project you will experiment with the apps previously learned in projects 1 and 2......in combination with learning a new animation app. Try using different types of imagery and digitally layering them to create beautiful effects. Also try experimenting with different styles, such as abstraction with a pop of realism or realism with a pop of abstraction or surrealism....... as you will learn in this project.
